As a Software Development Engineer (Python), you will:
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Python-based software solutions, ensuring code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate with senior developers, testers, and other team members to deliver technical solutions aligned with project requirements.
- Assist in the design and development of 3D modeling and CAD-related functionalities, working to ensure precision and innovation.
- Support the design and optimization of algorithms for software functionality, particularly for 3D modeling and data processing.
- Participate in R&D initiatives, learning and exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance software performance and capabilities.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with team members to develop debugging and problem-solving strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to stay aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Contribute to improving team workflows and development processes to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
- Stay informed about advancements in Python development, 3D modeling, and CAD technologies, applying them where relevant to improve solutions.
Your Profile:
- A graduate with at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (Software, Biomedical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or equivalent), or a related field.
- With over 2 years of experience in Python software development.
- Proficient in Python programming, with a solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- A team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, eager to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Knowledgeable in Agile development methodologies and comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Equipped with good communication and organizational skills, capable of contributing to team alignment and project success.
Plus Points:
- Have experience working with products in R&D, Medical, CAD, or 3D Printing Industry-related fields.
- Are familiar with Azure DevOps or similar tools for work tracking and CI/CD pipelines.
- Have knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) technologies and their potential applications in software development.
- Possess experience in performance optimization, particularly for 3D or CAD-related software.
- Hold relevant certifications in software development or Agile methodologies.
