Software Engineer, AI
Work with a nimble engineering team to develop Nebula, a Universal Blockchain Interface, maintain web3 x AI developer SDKs, make architecture and implementation decisions, develop the Nebula t1 Model, engage with users and customers, and create developer-facing documentation.
Responsibilities
- Own development of the Nebula t1 Model and future AI x Web3 technologies.
- Talk to users to understand their problems and design solutions.
- Collaborate with product and design teams on customer challenges and new features.
- Assist customers integrating thirdweb into their applications or platforms.
- Write documentation for developer-facing functions and APIs.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience on a software development team for a product-focused web application.
- Experience and interest in blockchain development.
- Experience and interest in AI/ML.
- Familiarity with distillation, supervised fine-tuning, and policy optimization for large language models.
- Ability to propose and integrate novel LLM-powered product features.
- Proven experience with LLM APIs and prompting challenges.
- Ability to deliver complex, large-scale technical projects end-to-end.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
- Ability to make calculated tradeoffs for customer and business needs.
- Bonus: experience with developer-first products, SDKs, API design, technical documentation, wallets, smart contracts, or EVM technologies.
