Software Engineer, Associate
The role is primarily technical and development-focused. You will have the opportunity to work with technologies such as C++ and Java, learn ERP concepts over time, and develop your skills in a collaborative international environment.
- Assisting in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Infor COM application functionality.
- Supporting development work related to application business logic, framework components, and product enhancements.
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Working with technologies such as C++, Java, or similar programming languages.
- Investigating, debugging, and resolving software defects and technical issues.
- Supporting release testing, feature validation, and beta support activities.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Software Engineering, QA, Product Management, Product Support, and Consulting.
- Learning ERP processes and understanding how business requirements are translated into technical solutions.
- Participating in team discussions, technical reviews, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of existing systems, tools, and development practices.
- Working as part of an international team, including colleagues based in Poland and Germany.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Interest in building reliable, maintainable, and high-quality software.
- Basic knowledge of C++, Java, C#, or similar programming languages.
- Academic, personal, or internship experience involving software development.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Interest in ERP systems, manufacturing processes, or enterprise software.
- Exposure to Agile development practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
- German language skills would be considered an advantage.
