Software Engineer, Growth and Monetization
Join Hex's Growth & Monetization group to work across product-led growth, user activation, pricing and billing, and new product bets. Partner with Product, Design, Data, and Marketing to improve user engagement, revenue, and business outcomes through experimentation and product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack growth-focused features including onboarding flows, activation nudges, core product features, and billing experiences.
- Design, run, and iterate on A/B tests across the funnel.
- Drive outcomes such as trial-to-paid conversion, user activation, expansion revenue, and product-led pipeline.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Data, and Marketing on growth priorities.
- Build tracking, define success metrics, and use data to inform decisions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer across React/TypeScript frontend and backend systems.
- Business-owner mindset focused on customer value and business outcomes.
- Strong data intuition and comfort making decisions on imperfect data and running statistically significant experiments.
- Bias toward action, rapid shipping, learning, and iteration.
- Familiarity with B2B SaaS, experimentation, billing, and/or collaboration products.
