Software Engineer - hConnect
Build the global authentication platform that protects and connects digital identities. Develop high-availability backend systems, integrate with national eID and external identity services, create scalable APIs, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain hConnect core backend systems and high-availability infrastructure
- Develop modules integrating national electronic ID systems and external identity services
- Improve system stability and scalability for future traffic and feature growth
- Develop reliable APIs for internal services and external partners
- Collaborate through code reviews and write clean, maintainable code
Requirements
- Proactive problem-solving and independent improvement mindset

- Strong technical curiosity and understanding of technology fundamentals
- Transparent communication and effective collaboration
- Solid Node.js and TypeScript knowledge with at least 2 years of backend development experience
- Strong computer science fundamentals and mastery of at least one technology
- Experience with OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and access token flows
- Experience building and scaling early-stage products
- Experience addressing browser and mobile compatibility challenges
- Experience with test automation and continuous code-quality improvement
- Experience designing and operating high-volume architectures
- API Gateway, PaaS, or SaaS development experience
- Experience with Docker, RabbitMQ or Kafka, and AWS or GCP
