Software Engineer (Java)

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performing backend systems supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity. The role uses Java 25, Postgres, Spring Boot, clean code, TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Focus on greenfield development and improve existing systems
• Build REST APIs
• Engineer microservices
• Evolve systems supporting card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity
• Develop business logic using clean code, TDD, DDD, and continuous integration and delivery

Requirements

• Demonstrable backend development experience with fluency in Java
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another Engineering or Science discipline
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• A track record of building complex products used by millions of people in hypergrowth startups
