Software Engineer (Linux Kernel / Storage / Distributed Systems)
Summary
Systems engineer working on core infrastructure powering large-scale data platforms, focusing on low-level systems work. Day-to-day involves designing systems around file systems, volume managers, and clustering, plus deep Linux kernel, IO stack, and storage subsystem development using C/C++.
What You’ll Work On
Design and build systems around file systems, volume managers, and clustering
Work deeply within the Linux kernel, IO stack, and storage subsystems
Develop and optimize large-scale distributed systems
Solve complex performance, scalability, and reliability challenges
Perform deep debugging and root cause analysis (RCA)
Mentor engineers and drive engineering excellence
What We’re Looking For
Strong C/C++ systems programming
Deep understanding of Linux internals (kernel, memory, IO, file systems)
Experience with storage systems / IO path
Strong debugging skills across user space and kernel space
Experience working on high-scale distributed systems
Ability to design systems and influence architecture
Nice to Have
Experience with microservices / Kubernetes
Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure systems
