Software Engineer
Summary
Full-stack software engineer building and maintaining frontend/backend applications, APIs, ETL pipelines, and AWS cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, Terraform). Works across microservices, CI/CD, and integrations with low-code or enterprise platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain frontend and backend applications, APIs and digital products
- Build secure data processing and ETL pipelines
- Develop and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS and containerised applications
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or OpenTofu
- Develop automated testing and improve overall software quality
- Support system integration and distributed applications
- Implement security, monitoring and production support practices
- Modernise and enhance existing applications and systems
- Work with different teams to develop reusable engineering solutions
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field
- Hands-on experience in software development
- Experience with one or more of Java, Kotlin, Python, Node.js/TypeScript, Go or C#
- Frontend experience with React, Next.js, Vue or Angular
- Experience with RESTful/GraphQL APIs and SQL databases
- Knowledge of microservices, system integration or ETL
- Experience with Git, automated testing and code reviews
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS and CI/CD
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Good to Have
- Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu, Kubernetes/EKS or event-driven architecture
- Experience with Salesforce, OutSystems, Appian, Pega or Microsoft Dynamics
