Software Engineer (REST APIs, system integration, data models and relational databases)
Our Client is a molding manufacturer using software, automation, data and AI to transform manufacturing.
We are now helping them to hire a hands-on Software Engineer who enjoys solving real business problems, learning new technologies and seeing their work make a direct impact.
What you’ll do
- Build internal applications using Go, React & TypeScript
- Develop APIs, system integrations and automation
- Explore AI solutions to improve productivity and decision-making
- Work directly with business and production teams to understand real workflows
- Own projects from design → development → deployment → improvement
- Troubleshoot and continuously improve existing systems
What we’re looking for
· 3–5 years’ software engineering experience (strongercandidates with less experience are welcome)
Learning agility — able to learn unfamiliar technologies, business domains and systems quickly, and become productive with limited hand-holding.
· Strong backend development fundamentals; Go preferred
· Hands-on React & TypeScript experience
· Good knowledge of REST APIs, databases and system integration
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
· Fast learner with a strong sense of ownership
· Comfortable communicating with non-technical users
· Singapore-based and willing to travel to China when required
· Working Mandarin + Chinese reading ability
Bonus if you have
Manufacturing / Industry 4.0, MES/ERP/PLM, Docker/Linux, CI/CD, cloud, industrial systems or AI/automation experience.
