Software Engineer - Solana
Design and build Solana smart contracts in Rust using Anchor, integrate Solana DeFi protocols, implement WebSocket feeds, develop automated trading and risk-management systems, write integration tests, and optimize transaction construction.
Responsibilities
- Design and build Solana programs in Rust using Anchor framework.
- Integrate with Solana DeFi protocols including Jupiter, Drift, Meteora, and Raydium.
- Implement real-time WebSocket feeds for Solana accounts, transactions, and program logs.
- Build automated trading strategies executing on Solana with sub-100ms latency.
- Develop on-chain risk management including position limits, liquidation triggers, and PDA-based account validation.
- Write integration tests against devnet and mainnet RPC nodes.
- Optimize transaction construction, compute units, priority fees, and account pre-fetching.
- Design secure PDA schemas and CPI patterns.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software engineering experience and 1+ years building on Solana.
- Production experience writing Solana programs in Rust with Anchor.
- Deep understanding of Solana architecture, accounts, PDAs, CPIs, compute units, and rent.
- Hands-on experience with Solana CLI, Anchor CLI, and web3.js.
- Experience integrating major Solana protocols.
- Proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js for off-chain services and WebSocket clients.
- Understanding of SPL tokens, token-2022, and associated token accounts.
- Experience with transaction optimization, priority fees, and retries.
- Familiarity with RPC providers and their rate limits.
- Ability to read on-chain program code using Solana Explorer or Anchor IDL.
- Strong unit and integration testing discipline.
