Software Engineer - Welcoming submissions for future opportunities

Build and maintain web applications and microservices that communicate with the blockchain daemon. Implement user-facing features and backend services, estimate and plan feature implementations, write code in multiple languages, review proposed changes, work with DevOps to deploy and operate services, maintain automated builds and tests, and troubleshoot production issues.

Responsibilities

• Estimate feature complexity and plan implementations
• Write code in multiple programming languages to implement features and fix defects
• Review proposed code changes and provide useful feedback
• Work with DevOps engineers to deploy applications
• Set up and maintain automated builds and testing
• Diagnose production issues and assist with repairs

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Linux
• Knowledge of networking protocols
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Good coding skills with JavaScript ES6, Python, and shell
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis, and software design
• Experience in one or more of Swift, Java, C, C++, Go, Perl, or Ruby
• Familiarity with JavaScript ES6, TypeScript, React, and Redux
• Experience with JSON-RPC
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Four years of programming experience
