Solution Architect
About Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Solution Architect to lead the design and development of our eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in developing eCommerce websites, designing robust data models, and implementing customer data profiling strategies that improve user experience and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
eCommerce Architecture: Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing eCommerce solutions aligned with business objectives and optimized for user engagement.
Data Model Development: Design and maintain comprehensive data models to support core eCommerce functions, including product catalogs, customer information, order processing, and sales analytics.
Customer Data Profiling: Define and implement customer data profiling approaches to analyze customer behavior, preferences, and segmentation, enabling personalized marketing and engagement strategies.
Integration: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate systems such as CMS, CRM, payment gateways, and other platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and a seamless user experience.
API Development: Design and develop secure, scalable, and efficient APIs to support third-party integrations and data exchange.
Best Practices: Define, document, and promote architectural best practices, coding standards, and guidelines to ensure high-quality and maintainable eCommerce solutions.
Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and product managers to align technical solutions with functional requirements and business goals.
Quality Assurance: Perform regular architectural and implementation reviews to ensure adherence to industry standards, security requirements, and business needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role within eCommerce environments.
Strong understanding of eCommerce platform architectures such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
Hands-on experience with data modeling and customer data profiling methodologies.
Expertise in API design, development, and system integration.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and payment gateway integrations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a business-focused mindset.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards for online transactions, such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
