Solution Architect
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a cross-functional product team.
The team is primarily responsible for a platform that provides shared capabilities and enables multiple products and integrations. Therefore, the role requires both strong ownership within the team and a broader understanding of how architectural decisions impact other products, teams, and platform consumers.
This is not a high-level advisory role. We are looking for someone who will become an integral part of the team and take continuous ownership of the platform's technical direction and coherence as it evolves.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, use cases, constraints, and priorities.
- Translate high-level or incomplete requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions.
- Proactively identify gaps, contradictions, edge cases, dependencies, and risks.
- Design solutions that are feasible, secure, scalable, maintainable, and realistic within project timelines.
- Maintain a holistic view of the platform and understand the impact of changes on existing and future products and integrations.
- Coordinate technical decisions, dependencies, and integration approaches across teams.
- Work closely with engineers to validate feasibility, complexity, implementation approach, and realistic timelines.
- Own, communicate, justify, and defend architectural decisions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Challenge requirements or approaches that introduce unnecessary complexity, technical debt, security risks, or unrealistic expectations.
- Stay actively involved throughout implementation and adapt solutions as requirements and use cases evolve.
- Help establish consistent architectural patterns and prevent architectural drift across the platform.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar hands-on architecture role.
- Strong technical background, preferably with hands-on experience in Java or a similar backend technology.
- Strong technical background with experience designing complex platform solutions, integrations, and end-to-end flows across multiple systems and products.
- Experience working with shared services supporting multiple consuming products and teams.
- Ability to understand complex end-to-end flows and pay attention to implementation-level details.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-team communication skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and drive technical decisions.
- Strong ownership mindset, with willingness to stay involved from initial requirements through implementation and evolution of the solution.
Technology Stack
The project currently uses Java, React, and Node.js, along with a standard cloud-native/DevOps stack including GitOps, Terraform, Argo CD, Helm, Grafana, and Prometheus.This is not a high-level advisory role.
