About the role
As a Senior Solution Designer, you will translate business and project requirements into technology solutions, working between architecture and delivery teams.
You will own solution design from concept through to implementation, guide squads, engineers and tech leads through solution decisions, produce solution documentation and design artefacts, present solution options and justify recommended approaches, engage stakeholders and obtain solution approvals, and challenge thinking and contribute ideas rather than simply following direction.
Key responsibilities
Translate business and project requirements into technology solutions

About you
Technical background from Software Engineering, Development, Solution Architecture, Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst backgrounds
Strong JAVA and Angular experience
Technical credibility and ability to learn new technologies
Critical thinking and problem-solving capability
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Presentation and visual communication skills
Stakeholder management and ability to influence decisions
Mental flexibility and openness to feedback
Confidence to challenge existing thinking
Understanding of architecture principles, integration patterns, enterprise technology landscapes, database concepts, and API design and integration
Experience operating in enterprise-scale environments
Financial services experience strongly desired
API integration experience
Wealth management experience (bonus, not mandatory)
