About the Opportunity

The Solutions Architect will work as a member of the Technology Services Architecture team, following the approved Technology strategic direction to make the most appropriate technical decisions possible to ensure positive business outcomes.

The Solutions Architect will work across Infrastructure, Application and Cloud hosting environments.The role will provide an expert voice in ensuring all assigned projects plan and deliver in alignment with architecture standards and guidelines, while producing and contributing to solution architecture related artifacts for review, consideration and approval.

The Senior Solutions Architect will also be responsible to develop and support the Technology Services Enterprise Architecture practice for Attorney General’s Department.

About the Business

The Technology Services Business Unit is responsible for helping to meet a wide range of IT needs throughout the department by providing expertise and services in ICT Service Desk and Desktop Support, Infrastructure Management and Technical Support, ICT Contract Management and Procurement, ICT Security and Policy, IT Asset Management, software licensing and compliance, ICT Change Management that assist in meeting the overall AGD objectives.

Special Conditions for Employment

Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested. Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.
