Spare Parts Manager- Automotive
We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Manager – Automotive to manage spare parts operations, inventory control, procurement, and team performance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of automotive spare parts, supplier management, warehouse operations, and after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage overall automotive spare parts department operations.
- Oversee purchasing, inventory management, stock availability, and parts distribution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor stock levels, slow-moving items, and ensure optimal inventory control.
- Coordinate with service, workshop, and sales teams to fulfill parts requirements.
- Manage ordering processes, purchase requests, and supplier negotiations.
- Ensure accurate receiving, storage, and issuing of spare parts.
- Analyze sales trends and improve parts availability and profitability.
- Lead and supervise spare parts team members.
- Prepare reports related to inventory, sales, and operational performance.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in automotive spare parts management.
- Proven experience managing a spare parts department or automotive dealership environment.
- Strong knowledge of automotive components, parts identification, and sourcing.
- Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Strong vendor negotiation and procurement skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Valid Kuwait driving license preferred.
