Sr Analyst - System Maintenance
Summary
Supports and maintains Demand Planning systems at General Mills, configuring system parameters to reflect business strategy, testing enhancements, resolving user issues, and driving process standardization across supply chain planning operations on SAP-based platforms. Works a 1:30–10:30 PM shift.

OVERVIEW
Primary function of System Maintenance Sr. Analyst is to understand business strategies from Business teams and to replicate it in planning systems. Individuals will be responsible for implementing & supporting system best practices across Demand Planning processes, Testing business functionalities/ Enhancements for Demand Planning systems. This role requires you to operate in 1.30 pm to 10.30 pm shift.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
50% of time: Provide on-going business application support for Demand Planning team
- Maintain System Parameters to reflect business strategies.
- Identify, develop and implement best practices, Resolve end user system/process issues
- Work on Business Process Standardization
- Utilize Continuous Improvement (CI) tools as necessary
20% of time: Support & sustain Demand planning processes and system usage metrics
- Support System wellness/health-check processes including compliance & metric tracking
- Support & Sustain processes for driving effective system utilization
- Support training documentation
20% of time: Support business expansion initiatives via seamless systems integration
- Establish impact of new technology on Demand Planning Systems along with Technology Team.
- Support integration of new technology, corporate acquisitions, location transitions within current business processes / systems
- Identify opportunity areas for new system solutions
10% of time: Continuous Improvement & individual development
- Leverage global processes & tools
- Expand understanding of SC tools & capabilities
- Grow Technical Skillset, attend Soft skill and technical trainings
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
- Experience: 2 years of related experience required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Master’s in engineering or Equivalent
- Professional Certifications: APICS (American Production & Inventory Control Society) Certified Professional, CSCMP (Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals) Certification, SAP certified Professional
- Related experience: 2 to 3+ years
