What You'll Do
A successful Senior Operations Specialist will handle day-to-day activities of the Operations Team. Organizational responsibilities to include but not limited to daily client communications cases and completing daily research tasks, supporting the rest of the team member with the supervision of the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
Ops Initiatives
- Accurately complete background reports without any error.
- Plan ahead to make sure all research are completed within the TAT.
- Comply with all Personal Information and Privacy Laws and Procedures and corporate’s compliance regulation and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Full cover of Enhanced level reference check including proofreading of others.
- Focus on business development supporting Operations Manager.
- Continuously develop research strategy and share case studies within the team. Involve in training when necessary.
- Ensure to have interviewing and writing skills for reference check.
- Ensure to have knowledge of internal system / applications to perform the role.
- Ensure to understand SOP clearly and update the toolkit regularly.
Other Business Performance
- Ensure to accurately manage cases and caselist
- Ensure to proactively participate the regular Ops study session by sharing cases handled.
- Assist supervisor with the various trainings, sessions, and coaching to the team members.
- Review and submit GCM elements in accordance with VPG and Client SOPs.
- Perform as a Subject Matter Expert (pending on skills and experience) on the assigned tasks.
- Assist supervisor with the assigned tasks including process dashboard, resource and other documents refreshment to ensure knowledge being retained with FADV team, e.g. Confluence & Updates, Change Request Implementation, Research and Planning where appropriate.
- Coordinate projects, process enhancement, special requirement for clients and other operations initiatives
Internal & External Relationship
- Collaborate with other teams in First Advantage to improve client service and business performance.
- Efficiently support colleagues including the supervisor when necessary.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that would meet clients’ expectations.
- Ensure to maintain good relationships with company HR, academic registration officers and referees when carrying out research / verification tasks.
What You Will Need to be Successful:
Candidate must at least have spent 2 years in College or 1 year in college with BPO experience.
Experience doing Inbound calls/transactions is recommended (but not required).
What You May Need to be Successful:
Requires good command on the English language and can handle conversational interviews.
Proficiency on basic computer applications, e.g. Microsoft office and Web browsers
