Sr. Product Manager – Technical, Devices Data Services, Devices Data Services
Devices Data Services (DDS) builds the automated feedback loops that ensure every customer sees the best marketing content for them, on every surface we own, for every Device. We are hiring a Senior Product Manager – Technical to own the customer intelligence layer at the center of that mission: integrating Customer 360 (C360) data with our Next Best Action (NBA) models to move Devices marketing from manual, one-size-fits-all campaigns to automated, AI-powered personalization.
This is a high-ownership individual-contributor role. You will own the product vision and roadmap for two connected workstreams. First, NBA — the models that predict the optimal marketing action, message, and channel for each customer across their device-ownership journey. Second, C360 integration — reading cross-Amazon signals (purchases, benefits usage, household profile, preferences) to sharpen targeting, and writing Devices ownership and engagement signals back to C360 so our products stay visible as AI reshapes product discovery. You will define what these systems produce, how partner teams consume them, and how we measure their impact on customer experience and units.
You will work backwards from the customer, set strategy where the problem is not yet defined, and drive science, engineering, and marketing partners to deliver. Success looks like personalization becoming a capability teams inherit from the platform you build — not a bespoke project they undertake each time.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap for the C360 + NBA customer intelligence layer, from concept through launch, adoption, and measured impact.
Define the NBA product: how customers are scored across conversion-driving action types (first-time sale, upsell, cross-sell, upgrade, win-back), how models rank actions by conversion likelihood and lifetime-value impact, and how outputs are standardized for downstream consumption.
Own C360 integration roadmap: prioritize which cross-Amazon signals to read for Devices targeting, and define the Devices ownership and engagement signals we write back so our products surface in AI-powered discovery.
Standardize and vend NBA model outputs as reusable inputs to execution and personalization systems, defining the interface contract partner teams build against.
Partner with applied science, and data engineering to translate customer and business problems into model requirements.
Establish the measurement framework connecting personalization decisions to engagement and incremental units, closing the feedback loop that compounds precision over time.
Drive adoption across Devices marketing surfaces, shifting C360- and NBA-informed targeting from special request to default.
Write strategic narratives (6-pagers, PR/FAQs) that align senior leaders.
A day in the life
No two days look alike, but most blend deep customer and data thinking with hands-on cross-functional leadership. You might start reviewing NBA scoring results with an applied scientist, pressure-testing whether ranked actions reflect where a customer is in their ownership journey, then move to a working session with engineering on how Devices signals get written back to C360. In the afternoon you align a marketing partner on rolling a C360-based segment into their next campaign. Problems arrive under-defined; you use judgment and data to set the right goals and keep the team moving.
About the team
Devices Data Services (DDS) leverages data, science, and AI to drive decision-making across the Devices organization. We are a lean, AI-first team that builds automated feedback loops so every customer sees the right content, on every surface and Device. Our work spans four areas: we Drive Sales through science-backed targeting and automated merchandising; we Measure Marketing to deliver insights at the speed of data availability; we use GenAI first to democratize data access; and we build the Infrastructure and Tools for native-AI workflows. This role sits in Drive Sales, building the customer intelligence layer.
