Overview Our client is a leading manufacturing company operating in the Packaging industry. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sr. Sales Manager to lead the sales function, develop and execute strategic sales plans, and drive sustainable business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in packaging manufacturing, strong leadership capabilities, and extensive GCC market experience. Description
Sales Strategy & Business Growth- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Prepare annual sales plans, budgets, and revenue forecasts.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market share across existing and new markets.
- Develop initiatives to maximize sales performance and long-term profitability.
Sales Team Leadership- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets.
- Set individual sales objectives and monitor team performance through regular reviews and coaching.
- Develop sales territories, allocate accounts, and optimize field sales coverage.
- Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
Customer & Key Account Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
- Support the sales team in managing major customer negotiations and closing high-value opportunities.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction while strengthening long-term business relationships.
- Monitor customer needs and market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
Sales Planning & Performance Management- Monitor sales KPIs and analyze performance against targets.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews for senior management.
- Develop corrective action plans to improve sales performance where required.
- Ensure effective implementation of pricing strategies and commercial policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with Production, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled efficiently.
- Coordinate with Marketing to support promotional activities and business development initiatives.
- Ensure smooth communication between internal departments to achieve commercial objectives.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior sales management position.
- Industry Experience: Mandatory experience within the Packaging Manufacturing industry (Packaging / Carton / Flexible Packaging / Plastic Packaging or similar manufacturing environments).
- GCC Experience: Strong GCC market experience is mandatory.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience managing and developing sales teams, setting sales territories, supervising field sales representatives, and driving sales performance.
- Skills: Strong sales planning, business development, market expansion, team leadership, negotiation, forecasting, analytical, and commercial management skills.

Compensation & Benefits- Salary Range: 2500 JOD up to 3500 JOD
