Ssr Product Designer

We are looking for a Semi Senior Product Designer to join our design team and contribute to the creation of thoughtful, high-quality digital products that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

In this role, you’ll work across different stages of the product design process, collaborating closely with clients, designers, product managers, and engineers. You’ll have the autonomy to own features and design initiatives while continuing to grow your product thinking, craft, and ability to navigate more complex design challenges.

We also expect you to actively explore and incorporate AI into your design practice, using it not just as a tool for execution, but as a way to improve how you research, define, design, validate, and deliver products.

What are the main responsibilities of this role?

• Own design initiatives and features from early exploration through detailed UX/UI design, prototyping, validation, and delivery.

• Collaborate closely with clients, product managers, engineers, and other designers to understand problems and translate them into practical, user-centered solutions.

• Contribute to discovery and product definition, helping teams understand user needs, identify opportunities, explore concepts, and validate assumptions before moving into execution.

• Translate product requirements and user insights into clear experiences, including user journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.

• Participate actively in client conversations and workshops, presenting work, explaining design decisions, gathering feedback, and contributing to alignment.

• Use qualitative and quantitative insights to evaluate existing experiences, identify opportunities, and inform design decisions.

• Prototype and test ideas early, using the appropriate level of fidelity depending on what the team needs to learn or validate.

• Maintain a high level of design craft, paying attention to usability, interaction patterns, accessibility, visual consistency, and details.

• Contribute to design systems and reusable patterns, helping create more consistent and scalable product experiences.

• Work with increasing autonomy, knowing when to make decisions independently and when to involve senior designers or other team members.

• Participate in design critiques and peer reviews, both giving and receiving constructive feedback to continuously improve the quality of the work.

• Incorporate AI into your day-to-day design workflow, identifying opportunities to accelerate research, exploration, prototyping, documentation, validation, and delivery without compromising quality.

• Explore and implement AI-assisted workflows and automations that reduce repetitive work, improve consistency, and allow more time to focus on higher-value design decisions.

• Experiment with emerging AI tools and workflows, evaluating where they genuinely improve the design process and sharing learnings with the broader team.

• Use AI critically and intentionally, reviewing and refining AI-generated outputs rather than treating them as final deliverables

Which skills and experience do we envision for this role?

• You have 3 years of digital product design experience in an agency or design studio and a portfolio that demonstrates your design thinking and impact.
• You love big sweeping ideas but also enjoy the details. From product ideation and system thinking to kerning and grids, you demonstrate a capacity and enthusiasm for the spectrum of design.
• You have demonstrated experience leading the design process from start to finish. Whether creating a research plan, brainstorming, creating wireframes, crafting detailed UI/UX, prototyping, or just Ssr Product Designer building a Google Slide, you feel comfortable using a variety of methods and tools to go from idea to reality, bringing others and the client along with you through the process.
• You have experience designing experiments — you know how to use hypotheses to drive solutions and apply qualitative and quantitative data to make design decisions.
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and have shown an ability to bring clarity and structure to a complex system or user experience challenge.
• You have strong visual awareness and sensibilities.
• Youʼre a great communicator who can design frameworks to help the client and your team find opportunities, brainstorm and illustrate concepts, and effectively tell the stories of your ideas.
• You are proficient and confident in English.
• You thrive when youʼre working with a small team in an ever-changing environment. You are confident, willing to learn, and want to collaborate with others to design world-class experiences.
