Staff Frontend Engineer

This role owns the frontend and core trading experience for Superluminal, including order entry, positions, pricing display, and charts. It offers substantial autonomy on a small, fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the frontend for Superluminal using TypeScript and React
• Design the core trading experience, including order entry, positions, pricing display, and charts
• Make UX decisions based on how perps traders think and operate
• Work with a high degree of autonomy on a small, fast-moving team

Requirements

• Senior or staff-level frontend experience with minimal oversight
• Strong hands-on skills in TypeScript and React
• Genuine familiarity with perpetuals trading
• Comfort using AI tools such as Claude while solving difficult problems independently
• Based in the US or able to maintain strong overlap with a US-hours team
