Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer

The role acts as product owner of the Fountain platform, working with the CEO and stakeholders to design, build, launch, and iterate on complex projects. It spans React and TypeScript frontend development, Solidity and Hardhat smart contracts, and TypeScript backend systems, with responsibility for scalability, engineering practices, mentorship, and recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Own the platform and drive end-to-end development of complex projects
• Design, build, and launch product features and own iterations and follow-ups
• Solve technical problems across frontend, backend, and smart contract systems
• Design and build scalable systems for significant user growth
• Set engineering best practices and mentor engineers
• Refine product requirements and team vision with stakeholders
• Interview candidates and refine recruiting processes

Requirements

• Ability to write clear, concise, high-quality code
• Strong technical design skills and ability to translate product requirements into designs
• Frontend development knowledge with modern frameworks
• Backend fundamentals including databases, servers, caching, and APIs
• Experience or keen interest in Web3
• Comfort working at an early-stage startup and taking projects from zero to one
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
