Staff / Principal Design Engineer, Web

Own and elevate Lovable’s landing pages and web experiences, implementing polished interactions, improving performance and cross-browser consistency, building reusable components, and translating visual explorations into scalable web implementations.

Responsibilities

• Build landing pages and design web interactions.
• Implement React and TypeScript interactions with strong performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser consistency.
• Drive frontend execution through new interaction patterns, micro-animations, and visual details.
• Collaborate with marketing and designers.
• Translate visual explorations into scalable, web-native implementations.
• Build and maintain reusable components.
• Reinvent how teams build for the web.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience shipping websites and landing pages.
• Portfolio demonstrating landing pages and advanced web interactions.
• Strong understanding of React architecture, state management, performance, accessibility, and scalable UI patterns.
• Experience translating explorations into production-ready experiences.
• Strong design sense with attention to detail, accessibility, and usability.
• React and TypeScript experience.
• WebGL is ideally desired.
