Staff Product Designer Who Codes
A design-first product design role bridging design, product, and engineering. The role focuses on solving complex problems, designing intuitive experiences, and writing code to prototype or ship customer-facing products rapidly.
Responsibilities
- Own product features end to end from problem understanding through design, front-end implementation, and release.
- Build functional prototypes to validate ideas and reduce decision risk through customer feedback.
- Partner with backend and core engineering in a fixed-time, variable-scope environment.
- Deliver polished, production-ready experiences on tight timelines.
- Evolve design systems and component libraries across mobile and web platforms.
- Help designers ship in code and integrate AI tools into their workflows.
Requirements
- Experience shipping products with ownership of both design and code implementation, including technologies such as React, TypeScript, Node.js, or Vue.js.
- A portfolio of live products that were designed and built, not only mockups.
- Strong product judgment and attention to quality and intuitive experiences.
- Deep understanding of modern front-end development constraints and possibilities.
- Ability to define problems, make decisions, and complete work with minimal oversight.
- Excellent communication of design decisions and technical trade-offs.
- Passion for Bitcoin, financial empowerment, and the future of money.
- Fluency in English.
