Staff Software Engineer, Agentic Platform
Build the core services of Tide’s agentic platform, connecting robust backend systems with generative AI. Design APIs, workflow orchestration, tool integrations, shared AI capabilities, reliable observable services, and reusable engineering patterns for AI-enabled workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build core services for the agentic platform
- Develop APIs, workflow orchestration, and tool integrations
- Integrate third-party components
- Productionise shared AI capabilities
- Design reliable, secure, and observable services
- Shape reusable engineering patterns for AI-enabled workflows
- Design and build automated evaluation pipelines for agent reasoning accuracy and safety
Requirements
- Strong backend or platform engineering experience in production environments
- Knowledge of APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and service design
- Experience integrating internal and third-party platforms
- Ability to turn emerging needs into robust platform components
- Strong focus on quality, reliability, and developer usability
- Experience with AI infrastructure or orchestration
- Experience in highly regulated industries is valuable
- Ability to design and build automated evaluation pipelines
