Structural Design Engineer
We are looking for an experienced structural design engineer to join our team in Dokki. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and reinforced concrete design, with proven experience in designing residential, commercial, and high-rise buildings.
Previous experience within an engineering consultancy/consultant environment is highly preferred.
Key responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, and high-rise buildings.
- Prepare and review structural design calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
- Review structural drawings and resolve technical/design issues.
- Participate in design reviews and provide effective engineering solutions.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of design packages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with a structural engineering/concrete background.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in reinforced concrete and structural design.
- Proven experience in designing residential, commercial, and high-rise buildings.
- Previous experience in an engineering consultancy is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles, codes, and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
