Summary

Supply Chain Finance and Cost Management Analyst driving end-to-end cost visibility and COGS optimization for an FMCG client. Builds financial models for sourcing strategies, benchmarks cluster-level supply chain costs (customs, freight, distribution), and develops dashboards to track cost-saving initiatives.

Supply Chain Finance and Cost Management. The ideal candidate should possess strong Supply Chain Finance, Cost Analysis, and Financial Modeling expertise rather than operational Supply Chain experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an end-to-end Supply Chain cost map, providing visibility across all cost components within the value chain.
  • Analyze and drive insights on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), identifying opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
  • Build financial models to evaluate and optimize sourcing strategies, incorporating material, logistics, duty, and other supply chain cost drivers.
  • Create and manage an annual Supply Chain Cost Roadmap, including cost-saving initiatives, tracking, and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of distribution and logistics cost structures to identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare cluster-wise Supply Chain cost benchmarking and comparators, including:
  • Customs and import duties
  • Freight and logistics costs
  • Supply Chain cost components within the price ladder
  • Regional cost structure comparisons
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical frameworks to monitor Supply Chain cost performance and key cost drivers.

Preferred Background

  • Strong experience in Supply Chain Finance, Costing, FP&A, Cost Analytics, or Business Finance.
  • Deep understanding of COGS, sourcing economics, landed cost analysis, customs duties, distribution costs, and supply chain cost optimization.
  • Proven capability in financial modeling, cost benchmarking, and scenario analysis.
  • Experience working across multiple markets, regions, or business clusters.
  • Advanced analytical and data visualization skills.
