and Effectively Manage the company’s resources related to supply chain, demand
planning, warehousing, and logistics.


-Ensure
compliance to regulatory requirements, supply chain standards and cGMP
requirement and good distribution practices.


Supply Chain Manager Job Objectives


To meet the Supply Chain department
goals, the Supply Chain Manager should meet the following objectives:


1.Ensure warehouse management,
logistics and distribution is carried compliant with industry standards and
good warehousing practices.


2.Ensure customer demand is
fulfilled through the supply chain function and follow up on plans to ensure
sales orders are completed as requested.


3.Effective and efficient
management of resources related to supply chain functions.


4.Develop good work relationships
with other functional groups within the company


5.Support organizational goals
and objectives


Roles and
Responsibilities


1.Manage and direct the activities of
the finished goods, raw materials and packaging materials warehouses to ensure
proper implementation of best practices in warehousing and to ensure compliance
to regulatory requirements.


2.Manage and direct logistics activities
supporting distribution and delivery of finished goods and logistics related to
all outgoing products from the company.


3.Participate in defining the plans
related to supply in coordination with the procurement department, the
warehouses, and logistics to ensure that materials requested for production are
fulfilled.


4.Develop, maintain and direct the company’s processes and procedures governing
key supply chain requirements such as Order (right product and right quantity),
quality (right condition and specs), Delivery (right location and time), Cost
(right price).


5.Manage the stock of the stores and
ensure proper implementation of proper warehousing management.Ensure compliant to cGMP requirements.


6.Implement stock management for
incoming materials of raw materials, packaging materials and other consumables
to ensure consumption rate is addressed in relation to stock level and to
ensure that the stock level is optimal.


7.Ensure that logistics planning and
shipping planning is performed to fulfill the sales orders.


8.Review
stock level and communicate required deficiencies to manufacturing planning to ensure that that insufficient
stock is addressed in the production plans.


9.Review stock level and communicate
with sales and marketing overstock and insufficient stock to address the issue.


10.Ensure
service level agreements / contracts are developed with clearance companies,
shipping companies and all logistics support companies based on negotiated
terms related to quality, capacity, responsiveness, and cost.


11.Review
ERP system data and issue reports to reflect process KPIs and performance
related to supply chain activities and functions.


12.Support
inspections conducted at the company and taking responsibility for inspection
findings by formulating documented responses and completing inspection finding
remediation activities.


13.Comply
with the company’s code of conduct and safety requirements


Department
Manager Roles and Responsibilities


1.Establish department annual goals and
objectives in alignment with the company’s annual plan and strategy


2.Plan, direct and manage department
budget and resources according to established department goals and objectives


3.Monitor and report department
performance based on established reporting intervals and based on established
performance measures, metrics and KPI’s


4.Develop and enhance workforce
competencies and skills


5.Facilitate an employee-oriented
company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, key employee
retention and development, and high performance


6.Ensure department workforce
performance reviews are completed and processed in compliance with Human
Resources established processes, policies and standards


7.Maintain a safe work environment



Requirements

Education, experience, and
skills required


Education:


Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Management, Operations, Logistics, Chemical
Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management (or equivalent)


Experience:


15
years minimum as procurement or supply chain management experience


Skills
required:


-Ability to negotiate contracts as well
as commercial terms and service level agreements (essential) with supply chain
stake holders.


-Supply chain experience, working with
cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment


-Strong communication, relationship
management, and analytical and problem solving skills


-Preferable candidate to have
experience in a pharmaceutical, Food or life sciences sector


-Excellent language skills in
Arabic and English (reading, writing and speaking)


-Certification and accreditation is a
plus


-Excellent computer skills such
as MS Office and Outlook
