System Administrator 2
Summary
System Administrator 2 role based in Annapolis Junction, MD, troubleshooting Windows 11 and Linux (Ubuntu/Fedora) hardware/software issues, managing Windows Server roles (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, RDS, Hyper-V), and supporting Juniper networking with PowerShell scripting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Windows 11: ability to troubleshoot various hardware issues
- Linux: experience with Ubuntu and Fedora
- Networking: experience with Juniper
- Windows Server: manage roles including DNS, DHCP, Active Directory including Group Policy, Remote Desktop Services, and Hyper-V
- Experience with Powershell scripting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Cisco and Dell networking systems
- Ability to upgrade code on Cisco and Juniper switches
- Strong Windows and Linux troubleshooting skills with hardware and software issues
- HP Device Manager (understanding of RMM tools would be sufficient)
- Experience with Splunk, Zabbix, Syslog-ng
