System Engineer (Analyst) - File Transfer
Summary
System engineer analyst supporting a file transfer (EFT) platform: installs/configures OS and middleware, creates and maintains transfer jobs, and runs health checks after maintenance. Stack spans SFTP, Java/JEE, Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL, and Unix/Linux.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Ensuring the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability.
- Creating and maintaining jobs in the EFT application.
- Performing health checks for jobs after monthly infrastructure maintenance.
Requirements:
- Good knowledge of: File Transfer Technology, SFTP, File encryption, Security Technology
- Good knowledge of Java Web Application Development and JEE Frameworks
- Knowledge of COTS and tools used in EAI-MFT environments.
- Knowledge of XML, Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL Query Language
- Knowledge of Windows Administration, Scripting, Unix/Linux Cron
