System Support Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Senior FIX Connectivity Support Analyst to join our Global FIX Connectivity team. In this role, you will support and manage FIX connectivity solutions across clients, brokers, exchanges, and vendors while ensuring seamless electronic trading operations across global markets. You will work closely with regional teams across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, supporting multiple trading desks and driving FIX onboarding, certification, and connectivity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for electronic trading operations across Cash Equities, Swaps, Futures & Options (F&O) trading desks.
- Manage and support FIX connectivity requests from clients, brokers, exchanges, dark pools, and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate and execute FIX onboarding, certification, testing, and production deployments for external counterparties and trading venues.
- Work closely with infrastructure and network teams to establish and maintain secure and reliable FIX connectivity.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve FIX-related connectivity and trading issues in a time-sensitive trading environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external market participants, vendors, and exchanges.
- Collaborate with global FIX support teams located in Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, India, London, New York, and Sydney.
- Participate in incident, change, and problem management activities to ensure system stability and operational excellence.
- Drive and independently manage FIX-related enhancement initiatives and rollout projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic trading support, including at least 3 years of hands-on FIX protocol experience.
- Proven expertise in FIX connectivity, client onboarding, certification, and production support.
- Experience with FIX engines such as CameronFIX, Appia, or equivalent platforms.
- Strong understanding of Cash Equities trading workflows, including DMA, DSA, Agency, and Program Trading environments.
- Good knowledge of Swaps, Futures & Options trading within DMA and DSA environments.
- Prior experience within a Broker-Dealer, Investment Bank, or Electronic Trading environment.
- Familiarity with Asian market structures and exchange connectivity, including Hong Kong, China Connect, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, India, and Indonesia.
- Solid understanding of trade lifecycle, order management, and booking flows across electronic trading platforms.
- Experience supporting OMS and EMS platforms such as Fidessa, FlexTrade, Bloomberg, ITG, or similar solutions.
- Hands-on experience with FIX testing and certification tools such as VeriFIX.
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools including Kibana, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Logstash, ITRS, and related technologies.
