Systems Assurance Manager
General position description
Review and monitor the status of the contractor’s systems assurance milestones within the project to ensure deliverables are submitted on time and on quality.
Review and monitor the preparation of functional analysis and requirements for RAM and safety.
Review and comment on all safety and RAM documentation by the contractor leading to and including safety case and RAM demonstration deliverables in compliance with EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129.
Promote a progressive assurance methodology by which the progress of systems assurance deliverables is reported on and reviewed with the client’s system assurance management.
Identify and manage the risks on the project using your analytical skills and produce systems assurance reports and documentation to ensure the project’s risks are managed, based on the submissions from the contractors.
Key contributor to project requirements, providing substantial knowledge from a safety, RAM, security, human factors, V&V, quality, and regulatory perspective.
Ensure that a systems assurance approach is adopted by the contractor throughout the program in order to meet the established reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) targets.
Cooperate with other engineers in ensuring the minimization of project risks.
Should be graduate in engineering.
Minimum of 10 years experience.
Deep experience with the standards EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129, IEC 61508, or comparable is mandatory.
Experience of requirements management and configuration management tools (e.g., DOORS, CP2) and processes.
Experience leading systems engineering activities in accordance with ISO/IEC 15288.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build sound working relationships internally and externally.
