Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Volume Recruitment Team within the Talent Acquisition function. The role will be accountable for ensuring that Qatar Airways Group has the right people, in the right place, at the right time to execute its business plans. The incumbent will provide expert advice, market intelligence, data-driven recommendations, and sourcing strategies to Hiring Managers, supporting key recruitment decisions across talent identification, selection, and offer management. As a key member of the Global Talent Acquisition Team, they will champion both the Candidate and Hiring Manager experience while driving efficient and effective recruitment outcomes

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for delivering key recruitment performance metrics, including quality of hire, new hire attrition (first 12 months), target start date achievement, and Hiring Manager and candidate satisfaction.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of vacancies, partnering with the broader Talent Acquisition team to ensure recruitment targets are achieved while meeting quality, time-to-hire, and cost-to-hire objectives.
• Build strong partnerships with Hiring Managers, providing expert guidance throughout the recruitment lifecycle, including workforce planning, market intelligence, candidate attraction strategies, target talent mapping, and employer value proposition development.
• Assess candidates against role requirements, competencies, motivation, and cultural fit, presenting high-quality shortlists and talent pipelines that support immediate and future business hiring needs.
• Drive best-practice selection methodologies through the effective application of Qatar Airways' recruitment and assessment framework, coaching Hiring Managers and promoting consistent, evidence-based hiring decisions.
• Ensure full compliance with Qatar Airways Group policies, procedures, and governance requirements throughout the recruitment process, maintaining accurate and complete candidate records within recruitment systems and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Partner closely with the Onboarding team to deliver a seamless, world-class candidate and Hiring Manager experience from offer acceptance through to onboarding.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, talent pooling, sourcing strategies, and recruitment projects that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Talent Acquisition delivery.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities related to the role as assigned by the Head of Department.
