Tax Manager
Polston Tax Resolution and Accounting is hiring a Tax Manager. The Tax Manager will be responsible for the preparation & review of income tax returns for individuals & businesses, calculating estimated tax payments, and general oversight of other team members.
- Supervise and mentor staff.
- Work with the Senior Tax Accountants to ensure their team members are meeting goals, following required process, etc.
- Contact and meet with clients via email/phone/mail to request documentation necessary to prepare or review tax returns and/or address client concerns.
- Review more complex income tax returns, providing guidance and support to team members and clients.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to support planning and compliance efforts.
- Evaluate processes and assist with further strategic development within the department.
- Assist with recruiting and hiring for the tax department as well as disciplinary meetings.
- Oversee the management of tax-related inventory and ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
