Project
We are building a competitive mid-core 4v4 hero arena shooter for mobile — a live-service game focused on fast-paced gameplay, smooth performance, and regular content updates. The project uses a modern Unity tech stack with heavy emphasis on DOTS/ECS and Netcode for Entities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the development team: planning, task distribution, tracking deadlines and quality.
- Set up and maintain development processes (Agile/Scrum, sprints, retros, DevOps practices).
- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers, helping the team grow.
- Work with the tech director/architect to help define the project's technical direction.
- Participate in requirements analysis and task breakdown together with game designers and producers.
- Ensure adherence to code quality, testing, and release standards.
- Balance management responsibilities with hands-on development work as needed.
- Communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building mobile games in Unity.
- 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead or in a similar leadership role.
- Experience managing a development team (task assignment, prioritization, mentoring).
- Strong understanding of software architecture, asynchronous programming, and error handling.
- Hands-on experience with DI, ECS (DOTS), and Netcode for Entities.
- Experience with Addressables, Animator, analytics, and A/B testing tools.
- Full-cycle mobile game development experience with a solid understanding of performance constraints.
- Experience working with high-scale, data-driven projects and backend services.
- Proactive, self-driven, with excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience building Unity Editor extensions or content-authoring pipelines.
- Previous work with live ops or games-as-a-service products.
- Experience with DI pattern
and MessagePipe.
- Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and remote content delivery.
