Technical Product Manager
Summary
Technical Product Manager at Eversor AI, owning what the team builds next and shipping product end-to-end. Bridges customers, engineering and founders to turn ambiguous ideas into working AI compliance software, using modern coding assistants and agentic development tools.
Salary: $130,000 – $150,000 per year
About the role
Eversor AI builds AI that takes the compliance load off organisations that carry it. You'll own what we build next as a Technical Product Manager, sitting between customers, engineering and the founders. This is a hands-on product role where you'll be judged on what ships and whether people actually use it. You'll have high agency, high visibility, very little bureaucracy, and room to leave your fingerprints on the whole product.
Key responsibilities
Turn ambiguous ideas into working software: Decide with leadership team what we build now, what we defer, and what we don't build at all
Prototype clickable, testable things that give the team something concrete to argue about
Get in front of customers and talk to them regularly
Own products end-to-end: from a problem described in a meeting, through to something customers pay for
Shape the value proposition: What the product promises, what it refuses to promise, and how we say it
Work shoulder-to-shoulder with the tech lead, change manager and commercial director
Bring evidence to decisions with documented user testing and workflow mapping, not opinion
In your first three months, take real ownership of a product area and ship something in it
By six months, run a major product or workstream end-to-end and drive it towards adoption and revenue
About you
You've probably got an engineering or technical background, but your ambitions sit in product
You can show something you personally built and put in front of users
You start from the problem and who has it, not the feature
You're opinionated about what to build and comfortable arguing for what to leave out
You can say how you'd know whether something worked
Good UX and clear writing matter to you as much as good engineering
You're comfortable with modern coding assistants and agentic development tools
You've built with models rather than just alongside them
You have views on what's reliable and what isn't in AI
You don't need a perfectly written PRD, three meetings and a groomed ticket before you start
You've probably got a couple of years building products
You need the right to work in New Zealand
Benefits
Real ownership: Products that matter to Eversor's future, from idea to paying customers
Direct access to the founders: You'll work with them, the commercial director and the tech lead every week, not through three layers of management
Speed: A small team where a good idea can be live in days, using the best available AI tooling rather than legacy ways of working
Room to grow: As Eversor scales, your scope scales with it
About us
Eversor AI works in industries that are among the least digitally mature there are: paper-based, deadline-driven, and full of obligations that carry real consequences when they're missed. We build on a shared AI compliance engine that reads and reasons over the documents these organisations run on, then apply it segment by segment. Same spine, different rule pack.
Our team is based in Auckland, with work underway across New Zealand and Australia. We have products live, a clear thesis about where AI belongs in regulated industries, and more demand than we can currently build for.
