Technical Project Manager
Galaxy is seeking a technically grounded Technical Project Manager to lead complex software development and cybersecurity initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, develop roadmaps, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery across its Data Centers organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project management from requirements gathering through delivery and post-implementation support.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, standups, retrospectives, and release planning.
- Define roadmaps, milestones, prioritization, and execution plans with software engineering and cybersecurity leaders.
- Coordinate vulnerability remediation, security tooling deployments, compliance projects, and risk reduction programs.
- Manage dependencies across software, cybersecurity, infrastructure, operations, construction, and vendor teams.
- Develop project dashboards, metrics, reporting, requirements, user stories, and documentation using Jira and Confluence.
- Track risks, dependencies, and resource constraints, escalating issues and driving resolution.
- Improve PMO processes, governance frameworks, project tooling, delivery efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 3–5 years of technical project or program management experience, preferably in software development, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or data center technology.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile delivery methodologies, and technical project execution.
- Experience with Scrum, Agile, Jira, Confluence, and project or program management practices.
- Experience managing software development projects and working directly with engineering teams.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, vulnerability management, security controls, identity and access management, security operations, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable project plans.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and competing priorities.
- Excellent organization, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Scrum Master certification is highly desirable.
