Technical Project Manager
Own the operational side of software delivery, including intake prioritization, tracking, scope definition, stakeholder coordination, dependency management, and leadership reporting across engineering teams in New York and India while bridging London with the broader technology organization.
Responsibilities
- Act as an execution partner to the India-based Head of Galaxy Retail, supporting engineering teams across New York and India.
- Own accountability for execution across Retail Engineering and align business priorities with technical delivery.
- Manage end-to-end intake, scope definition, prioritization, and tracking for new workstreams.
- Track resourcing, priorities, progress, conflicts, risks, and capacity gaps across teams.
- Build and maintain leadership reporting and a real-time view of delivery progress.
- Drive structured execution across time zones and maintain consistent delivery rhythms.
- Lead complex cross-team initiatives with multiple dependencies.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, security, and controls teams to manage dependencies and unblock execution.
- Identify and resolve blockers, risks, scope changes, and resourcing issues.
- Deliver concise updates to senior leadership, including the CTO.
- Improve delivery standards and operational maturity across the Technology organization.
- Champion thoughtful adoption of AI, automation platforms, and data copilots to improve productivity and outcomes.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Technical Program Management experience with direct involvement in engineering-led delivery.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple engineering teams and time zones.
- Ability to manage intake, triage requests, and define scope and priorities with technical stakeholders.
- Experience tracking resource allocation and identifying capacity risks or gaps.
- Strong execution, follow-through, ownership, urgency, and accountability.
- Fluency with JIRA, dashboards, documentation, and delivery tooling.
- Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders, including the CTO.
- Experience managing large multi-team initiatives with cross-functional dependencies.
- Ability to engage deeply with technical systems, architecture, and dependencies without hands-on coding.
- Based in London with the ability to bridge execution across New York and India.
- Experience in digital assets, financial markets, and retail finance technology initiatives.
- Prior software engineering or hands-on technical experience is a strong plus.
