About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of technology and business improvement projects across Hewitt's Australian and international operations. Working across cyber security, infrastructure, applications, integrations, cloud technologies and data initiatives, you will ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to organisational standards and governance frameworks.
This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work closely with business stakeholders, technical specialists, technology vendors and senior leadership to drive successful project outcomes. You'll bring structure, communication, technical understanding and strong stakeholder management to a diverse portfolio of projects that support Hewitt's strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical projects including infrastructure, cloud, application, integration and automation initiatives.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
- Establish and maintain project governance, documentation and reporting aligned to the Project Management Framework.
- Partner with technical teams, business stakeholders and vendors to coordinate delivery and drive engagement.
- Oversee operational handover, business readiness and benefits realisation to ensure long-term value is achieved.
About You
You are a proactive and organised project professional with a strong track record delivering complex technology projects in fast-paced environments. You possess the ability to translate technical information into clear business outcomes while building trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
With a strong understanding of project governance, risk management and technology delivery, you thrive on coordinating diverse teams, managing competing priorities and delivering quality outcomes. You are equally comfortable engaging technical specialists, vendors and senior leaders to ensure projects achieve their intended objectives.
You Will Bring
- Demonstrated experience managing technology projects across infrastructure, applications, cloud, cyber security, integrations or data environments.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks and project lifecycle delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience managing vendors, implementation partners and cross-functional project teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management capabilities with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
