Technical Senior Manager, Fund Tax

Join Carta's Fund Tax team to manage the tax team and delivery process, improve the LP experience through automated K-1s, connect fund administration and tax products, support client engagement, and expand automated tax preparation and filing offerings.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and engineering to automate and release K-1s on Carta's software platform
• Ensure a reliable connection between fund administration and tax products
• Help manage a team of tax professionals serving the client base
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support business growth

Requirements

• 8+ years of applicable tax experience
• Ability to identify and mitigate potential issues proactively
• Knowledge of venture capital and/or private equity
• Ability to manage competing demands and solve ambiguous problems
• Ability to work cross-functionally and drive progress
• Understanding of Carta's venture client ecosystem and customer engagement needs
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
