Technical Support Officer (Science Laboratory)

Our client is an established MOE school in Singapore, looking for a dedicated individual to support student discipline, engagement and well-being.

The Role:

Enjoy a meaningful role supporting students' learning journey through practical and engaging activities.

Job Responsibilities:

Science Lab Support

• Prepare and set up Science experiments, lessons, workshops, and CCA activities.
• Assist teachers with laboratory activities and additional Science projects.
• Support procurement of laboratory materials and equipment within budget.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and inventory of Science laboratories.
• Conduct stock-taking and maintain laboratory usage and equipment records.
• Support hydroponics/urban farming facilities, ecological gardens, and laboratory aquariums.

Makerspace Support

• Prepare materials and tools for makerspace activities and workshops.
• Manage and maintain makerspace equipment, including 3D printers an digital cutters.
• Provide basic technical support and troubleshooting for users.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized makerspace environment.

Requirements:

• GCE “O” Level certification
• Proficient in Microsoft Office in Word, Excel, Email and Google Tools
• Able to multi-task and able to handle a fast paced environment.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience or with some basic knowledge of laboratory, chemicals and apparatus.
• This a Contract role for One year/extendable

Others

• Contract from 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027 and another one-year extension
• 5days week from Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4.45pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Fridays,7:30am to 4:15pm
