Technical Writer - 3 Month Contract
Aspect is a multidisciplined team (SMP E&I) with a strong track record of project delivery including design, construction, commissioning and operational support. Aspect provides services to a wide range of industries both nationally and internationally.
Aspect Engineering is seeking an experienced Technical Writer — Operational Readiness (CMMS/MEX) to join our growing Nobles Nob Gold Project team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage operational readiness documentation and MEX system documentation to support site start-up and ongoing operations.
Coordinate the collection, validation and maintenance of asset, maintenance and inventory data within MEX, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Support MEX implementation, configuration, data migration and user training activities across maintenance and operational teams.
Ensure compliance with company standards, WHS legislation and operational requirements through effective document control and continuous improvement processes.
Monitor documentation deliverables and support commissioning and operational handovers to achieve readiness milestones.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant qualification in Technical Writing, Engineering, Business, Information Management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Proven experience in technical documentation, document control or operational readiness within mining, minerals processing, heavy industry, or a similar operational environment.
Demonstrated experience working with CMMS/EAM systems, including data management, system configuration, documentation development and maintenance planning processes; MEX experience is highly regarded.
Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance principles, including asset hierarchies, preventive maintenance programs, work order management, spares control and reliability practices.
Experience supporting commissioning, project delivery, site start-up or operational readiness activities, with a sound understanding of document control, version management and compliance requirements.
