Technical Writer

A Singapore-based global provider of semiconductor and electronics testing solutions. Working location: Serangoon

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, including engineering documents, work instructions, technical specifications, and technical bulletins.

• Gather and interpret technical information from engineering drawings, specifications, and product/process documentation, and translate complex information into clear, user-friendly content.

• Manage the documentation lifecycle, including review, approval, revision, and release.

• Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure technical accuracy and consistency of documentation.

• Support training and knowledge transfer for equipment, processes, and system upgrades using technical documentation.

• Ensure documentation meets quality standards and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline; Technical Writing certification is an advantage.

• Have technical writing experience in a high-tech, manufacturing, or new product development (NPI) environment.

• Strong ability to understand and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, and technical documentation.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Able to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced engineering/manufacturing environment.

• Willingness to travel when required.
