Location – Macquarie Park, Sydney

Allied Credit is a leading vehicle finance firm with strategic alliances with global car, marine and motorcycle brands. Offering white label, joint venture and floorplan finance, our proprietary software provides a seamless, convenient and customer-focused finance service to consumers and businesses.

We are seeking a Project Manager to plan, track and manage technology projects that will enable the stated business benefits. This is an important leadership role that requires strategic thinking, risk management, exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and drive organisational change and improvement in a compliant, structured, and transparent way.

The role requires broad and flexible skills and experience as the position covers: Project Delivery & Governance, Stakeholder Management, Change & Adoption, Regulatory Compliance, Vendor Coordination, Budget & Resource Management, Quality Assurance.

What you will be doing

  • Lead the successful delivery of business and technology projects from initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation.
  • Partner with business stakeholders, technology teams and vendors to define scope, priorities, timelines and success measures.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resources, risks and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across applications, infrastructure, data, cyber security, testing and change management.
  • Drive strong project governance, including reporting, financial management, risk mitigation and stakeholder communications.
  • Manage third-party vendors and delivery partners to ensure quality, timeline and budget commitments are met.
  • Support change management, user adoption, training and operational readiness activities.
  • Champion continuous improvement by enhancing project delivery frameworks, processes and governance practices.

Your background

  • Tertiary qualification in IT, business, project management or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven success delivering technology projects with budgets up to $20m, within Australian financial services or another regulated environment.
  • Experience delivering platform upgrades, system migrations, automation, CRM, workflow, data or digital technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience managing vendors, implementation partners and cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, steering committee reporting, RAID management, project financial tracking and dependency management.
  • Certification or formal education in project management methodologies such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent is desirable.
  • Practical experience using Waterfall, Agile and hybrid project management approaches.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented, with the ability to navigate complexity, ambiguity, tight deadlines and resource constraints.
