Technology Support Analyst - Workday
This position is responsible for providing functional and technical support for WSI’s Workday platform and related HR, Payroll, Finance, and business systems. The role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders, end users, and technology teams to ensure system stability, data integrity, user adoption, and continuous improvement of Workday processes.
The position will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, managing system configurations, supporting enhancements, coordinating testing activities, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements. In addition, the role supports External Airport Workers by troubleshooting and resolving Workday onboarding, access, and provisioning issues, ensuring workers receive the appropriate system access efficiently and with minimal disruption to operations.
Please note - this is a maximum term position for 12 months.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational support for Workday and integrated systems, including incident management, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Maintain and enhance Workday functionality across configuration, integrations, security, reporting, and data management.
- Lead releases, upgrades, testing, and enhancement initiatives while ensuring system performance and data integrity.
- Partner with People & Culture, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors to deliver effective system solutions.
- Develop reports, dashboards, documentation, and training materials to support business needs and user adoption.
- Support onboarding, access management, and provisioning for external workers, ensuring a seamless user experience.
About you
Essential experience & skills:
- Experience supporting Workday users and business stakeholders in a in an Enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Finance, Procurement or related enterprise business processes.
- Proven incident management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across diverse business functions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer focus and stakeholder management skills.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Good understanding of security controls in a Workday environment.
- Strong skills in prioritizing multiple tasks.
- A genuine team player.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience supporting Workday modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Learning, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, or Finance.
- Knowledge of Workday security, business processes, integrations, reporting, releases, and testing.
- Familiarity with ITIL and service management best practices.
- Experience with reporting, analytics, and relevant Workday or industry certifications.
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, and practical experience.
