Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 + Super

Mastergroup is a family-owned software company that has been helping Australian farmers and agribusinesses succeed for more than 40 years through our flagship product, Agrimaster.

We're looking for a detail-oriented Test Analyst to join our Development team in Subiaco. You'll play a key role in ensuring new features, enhancements, and fixes are thoroughly tested before they reach our customers.

About the Role

The successful applicant will play a key role in maintaining the quality of Agrimaster by testing new features, enhancements, and fixes before release. This hands-on role combines manual and automated testing, defect investigation, test planning, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute manual and automated testing activities.

  • Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation.

  • Identify, document, and communicate defects and quality risks.

  • Validate software against business requirements and customer workflows.

  • Assess release readiness and provide visibility of testing outcomes.

  • Collaborate across teams to improve product quality and customer experience.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is analytical, customer-focused, and passionate about software quality. Ideally, they will have:

  • 3+ years' experience in software testing or quality assurance.

  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.

  • Strong Selenium and SQL skills.

  • Experience testing APIs.

  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar testing and defect management tools.

  • Experience creating test plans, test cases, and testing reports.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • High attention to detail.

Highly Regarded

  • Experience with Java and/or C#.

  • Experience working within Agile development environments.

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience testing complex financial, accounting, banking, insurance, or business software platforms.

  • Experience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
