Test Analyst
Summary
Test Analyst on a 6-month contract for a WA government agency, reviewing requirements, developing test plans/cases/scripts, and executing functional testing across enterprise corporate systems in .NET and SQL environments.
Salary: ASAP start
Key requirements:
- Review business, functional and technical requirements.
- Determine the appropriate testing required for each release or change.
- Develop, review and update test plans.
- Prepare test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
- Execute functional testing across corporate systems.
- Test software changes, enhancements and defect resolutions.
- Validate system behaviour against documented requirements.
Experience required:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Test Analyst.
- Experience testing corporate or enterprise applications.
- Experience developing and maintaining test plans.
- Ability to create test scenarios, test cases and test data.
- Strong hands-on test execution experience.
- Demonstrated defect identification, logging and tracking experience.
- Experience retesting fixes and signing off resolved defects.
- Ability to prepare test execution and summary reports.
- Experience participating in defect triage meetings.
- Familiarity with Microsoft .NET technical environments.
- Practical SQL database query skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- High attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
