Tester (Banking, Central)
Summary
6-month contract tester for a banking client supporting a global finance market team. Day-to-day work covers UAT test case development and execution, defect tracking, data quality assessment and cleansing, and end-to-end data migration testing with source-to-target reconciliation.
Our client is one of the leader in the banking industry, they are seeking for a tester to join the global finance market team for data migration, testing, UAT and project support
Contract: 6 months
Location: Central
Salary up to $6000
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Develop, execute, and document comprehensive UAT test cases based on business requirements.
• Coordinate and manage testing activities across regional teams to ensure adequate coverage of country-specific business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitate testing workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and defect triage sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Track testing progress, monitor defect resolution, and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
• Ensure testing outcomes are properly documented and aligned with business acceptance criteria.
Data Migration Support
Data Assessment & Cleansing
• Assess data quality and perform data cleansing activities to improve accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Standardize and enrich data to ensure readiness for migration.
• Collaborate with business users to resolve data quality issues and validate ownership.
Data Migration Preparation
• Support migration planning and execution activities.
• Validate data transformation rules and ensure proper source-to-target field mappings.
• Review migration requirements and identify potential data risks and dependencies.
Migration Testing & Validation
• Execute migration testing and perform reconciliation between source and target systems.
• Validate migrated records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure data integrity and completeness throughout the migration lifecycle.
