Thermal Design Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the thermal design of LiDAR and related sensor products, covering the full product lifecycle, including thermal solution development, simulation and optimization, testing and validation, as well as troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of reliability issues.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, hardware, materials, optics, and process engineering, to ensure successful implementation and continuous optimization of thermal solutions.
Keep abreast of the latest developments and technologies in thermal management, conduct focused research on thermal-related technologies, and support the continuous enhancement of product thermal performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Engineering Thermophysics, Energy & Power Engineering, or a related discipline
At least 2 years of relevant experience in electronic product thermal design
Strong understanding of heat transfer fundamentals and familiarity with thermal design processes and requirements for both passive/natural cooling and active cooling products.
Proficient in at least one thermal simulation tool, with hands-on experience in thermal testing, measurement, and validation. Experience with ANSYS Icepak is preferred.
Proficient in both English and Chinese, to effectively communicate and collaborate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
